Email syncing, Activity Feed in Salesforce

PersistIQ offers a 2-way sync with Salesforce. When it comes to email syncing, PersistIQ can automatically log email activity to Salesforce. When the lead exists in Salesforce, you can sync the following; 

  • The email sent to a lead or contact in Salesforce 

  • The email received from a lead or contact in Salesforce 

Here is how it works:

If

  1. The user has connected their email address to PersistIQ

  2. Salesforce sync is on and activity record options are selected

  3. The user sends emails from PersistIQ or directly from his/her email account to a lead or contact in Salesforce

  4. The user receives emails from a lead or contact in Salesforce

Then

  1. An activity record is created in Salesforce for the sent or received mail. 

Keep in mind that if you do not want emails logged to Salesforce, below are some options:

  1. Disconnect your email from PersistIQ (controllable at the user level)

  2. Turn off activity creation in the PersistIQ Salesforce sync settings (applies to all users)
