PersistIQ offers a 2-way sync with Salesforce. When it comes to email syncing, PersistIQ can automatically log email activity to Salesforce. When the lead exists in Salesforce, you can sync the following;
- The email sent to a lead or contact in Salesforce
- The email received from a lead or contact in Salesforce
Here is how it works:
If
- The user has connected their email address to PersistIQ
- Salesforce sync is on and activity record options are selected
- The user sends emails from PersistIQ or directly from his/her email account to a lead or contact in Salesforce
- The user receives emails from a lead or contact in Salesforce
Then
- An activity record is created in Salesforce for the sent or received mail.
Keep in mind that if you do not want emails logged to Salesforce, below are some options:
- Disconnect your email from PersistIQ (controllable at the user level)
- Turn off activity creation in the PersistIQ Salesforce sync settings (applies to all users)
